Agustín González González
Born in Huajuapan de Leon, Oaxaca. He started working at the American School of Puebla in 1981 after completing a BA in Spanish Studies. He has a certificate in Principal and Coordinator Studies (UDLA Puebla), a teaching specialization from UNAM and a certificate in 21st Century Education (UDLA Puebla). He taught Literature, Greek and Latin Etymology at the Normal Superior Benavente for four years.
He has worked at the American School as a Spanish teacher, a Group Coordinator, a Spanish Area Coordinator, Vice-Principal and Principal since 1994. MYP Coordinator and member of the MYP Committee, the Discipline Committee, the Substance Abuse Prevention Committee and the Editorial Committee. In the latter, he has written several articles for the A.S. magazine. He was a founding member of the National Conferences for Spanish Teachers and Coordinators of the Association of American Schools in Mexico (ASOMEX).
He has participated in the Conferences of the Tri-Association (the Association of American Schools of Central America, Colombia, Caribbean and Mexico) that took place in Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador and Mexico.
