Pre-kinder
American School Pre-kinder students flourish in a transdisciplinary environment that encourages exploration as well as the development of their language, psychomotor, and social-emotional skills.
Small group instruction allows teachers to personalize learning experiences, allowing students to develop at their own pace.
Our program is for children who are at least 16 months of age and focuses on their holistic development.
All Pre-kinder classes are carried out in English.

Upon completing Pre-kinder, our students:
Have a good understanding of English;
Possess math skills such as counting and identification and classification of geometric objects;
Can meet new learning challenges confidently;
Are tolerant, patient, and can share with others when working in teams;
Demonstrate fine and gross motor skills;
Demonstrate spatial awareness;
Understand and can talk about natural phenomena;
Demonstrate body and sensory awareness;
Begin to understand the impact that their actions have on others and on their surroundings;
Begin to identify and name their emotions and the differences among them;
Develop self-management skills;
