Primary students discover their talents and skills through a bilingual transdisciplinary program that encourages them to explore, inquire about, and reflect upon the world around them, leading to the development of a global mindset.
The Puebla American School is an official International Baccalaureate (IB) school and is authorized to implement the Primary Years Program (PYP), which begins in Kinder 1 and ends at the conclusion of 6th grade.
The PYP is focused on a child’s holistic development, specifically their physical, intellectual, social, cultural, and emotional needs and development, and also provides a curricular framework for our math, social studies, language, theater, music, visual arts, science and technology, physical education, and social and physical development programs.
Activities and Cultural Experiences
Our trips and cultural experiences play an important role in the development of global citizens and agents of change.
The American School provides students opportunities to learn about Mexican and world history and cultural heritage.
